Your right to change your mind (14 days)

Because you are buying at a distance, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. The 14 days run from the day you physically receive the item.

To cancel, tell us within that window through the contact page. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

Who pays return postage

[STATE YOUR POLICY CLEARLY. Under the rules, the customer can be made to pay the cost of returning goods — but only if you told them so before they ordered. If you don't say, you pay. On a 20 kg pump this is a meaningful cost, so decide deliberately. Because orders ship directly from the supplier, agree the return route with them before you publish anything here.]

Condition of returned goods

Items should come back unused and in their original packaging where possible. You may handle goods as you would in a shop to check them; if an item's value is reduced by handling beyond that, we may reduce the refund accordingly.

Note that a pump which has been plumbed in, wetted and run cannot normally be returned under the cooling-off right. If you are unsure whether a pump suits your site, ask us before you install it — that is exactly what the free sizing service is for.

Refund timing

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method you used to pay.

If an item is faulty

This is separate from changing your mind, and your rights are stronger. If you report a fault within 30 days of receiving the goods, you can end the contract and get a full refund, and we pay the cost of returning the item. After 30 days you remain entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

Faulty goods may also be covered by the manufacturer's warranty — see Warranty & Service. A manufacturer warranty is in addition to your legal rights, never a replacement for them.

Exceptions
