Warranty & Service

[PLACEHOLDER PAGE — confirm the actual warranty terms with each supplier and replace the bracketed sections before launch. Do not state a warranty length you have not verified.]

Manufacturer warranty

Every pump we sell carries the manufacturer's own warranty. The length and terms differ by product, so the warranty that applies is stated on each individual product page rather than promised globally here.

[ADD: typical warranty lengths across the range once confirmed with your supplier, e.g. surface pumps X years, submersibles Y years, controllers and panels Z years.]

Your legal rights come first

A manufacturer's warranty is in addition to your rights under Irish consumer law, not instead of them. Nothing on this page reduces those rights. See Returns & Refunds.

What warranties usually don't cover

Terms vary by manufacturer, but these exclusions are common across the industry:

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation or incorrect wiring
  • Running the pump dry. This destroys the mechanical seal within minutes and is the most common uncovered failure — fit dry-run protection
  • Frost damage, including a casing left full of water over winter
  • Damage from pumping abrasive, silty or chemically aggressive water the pump was not specified for
  • Consumable parts — seals, filters and media — which wear out in normal use
  • Units not maintained as the manual requires, such as a pressure vessel never checked for pre-charge

This is why fitting matters. Using a qualified plumber or registered electrician and keeping the receipt protects your warranty.

Servicing

We are a supply-only business and do not carry out installation, servicing or repairs. [ADD: how you handle warranty claims in practice — whether the customer contacts the manufacturer directly or whether you handle the claim on their behalf. Agree this with your supplier explicitly, because customers will ask, and because orders ship direct from them.]

Making a claim

Contact us through the contact page with your order number, the fault, and photographs if relevant.

Tell us what you are trying to water

Whether it is a polytunnel, forty acres or a walled garden, the conversation starts the same way. How much water, how high, how far, what pressure.
